Jed Taxel

Jed Taxel is a Partner with Roberti Associates

Mr. Taxel was previously the Executive Director and a Co-founder of Blue Tiger Democrats (www.bluetigerdems.com), a not-for-profit corporation that promotes and supports civic engagement in charitable and community related projects utilizing volunteers from the progressive and Democratic communities. During his tenure with Blue Tiger, Mr. Taxel managed a national staff, coordinated all strategic communications efforts and managed membership development. The Blue Tiger Michigan Utilities Education Civic Engagement staff of 30 was crucial in raising issue awareness among progressives during the re-election of the incumbent Governor.

Prior joining Blue Tiger Jed was a Finance Deputy for the Democratic National Committee and John Kerry for President in New York City. He was part of a small staff that raised more than $65 million for the Kerry Campaign and the DNC, approximately one-third of all funds raised nationwide.

Prior to joining the Kerry Campaign, Jed served as a reporter and a researcher for both New York Magazine and Gotham Magazine.

Jed graduated from New York University with honors, receiving a B.A. in journalism.
